Ping K15 Driver

Straight drives are the reason we designed the K15.
PING’s innovative Straight Flight Technology (SF Tec) places approximately 10% of head mass toward the heel to help square the face for splitting fairways.

The K15 will help you see big distance gains.
With a longer face heel to toe and a large-profile 460cc head, the MOI is sizeable for maintaining ball speeds and forgiveness across the hitting surface. This design optimizes the center of gravity to generate high launch and low spin.

To get the most distance from your driver, you must optimize the launch angle and spin rate of the ball by selecting the proper loft and the shaft flex for your swing speed. Generally, golfers with slower swing speeds require more lofted drivers and more flexible shafts to achieve the proper launch conditions. Conversely, golfers with faster swing speeds generally require lower lofted drivers and firmer shafts.

A trained fitter can help you get the most out of each drive by observing the ball flight of shots hit with different loft and shaft specifications, and recommending the combination that creates the best trajectory shape for maximum distance. To find out which driver lofts and shaft flexes might be suggested for your swing get Web-Fit.

About PING

PING is a family-owned company founded in 1959 in the garage of Karsten Solheim. Karsten's frustration with his putting inspired him to design a putter, which made a "pinging" sound when striking a golf ball. Today, PING is synonymous with innovation, quality, and service in the world of golf.

A mechanical engineer who honed his skills in the aerospace and computer industries, Solheim and PING are credited with numerous innovations that became industry standards, including perimeter weighting, custom fitting and the use of investment casting in the manufacturing of golf clubs.

His insistence on adhering to strict engineering principles and tight manufacturing tolerances raised the level of product performance and quality throughout the golf industry.

Solheim, who passed away in 2000, is the only person to be inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame as a golf club manufacturer.

Today, the Phoenix-based company is under the direction of Solheim’s youngest son, John A. Solheim. PING game-improvement products can be found in more than 70 countries.
